General Safety
Intended Use
PrecastX products are designed for:
- Monitoring concrete curing temperatures in precast manufacturing
- Indoor and outdoor industrial environments
- Professional use by trained personnel
Not Intended For
- Medical or life-safety applications
- Explosive or hazardous environments (non-ATEX rated)
- Underwater or submerged use
- Temperatures exceeding specified ranges
Electrical Safety
Battery Safety
PrecastX devices contain Lithium Polymer batteries. Follow these guidelines:
Do:
- Use only the provided or approved chargers
- Charge in well-ventilated areas
- Store at room temperature when not in use
- Dispose of batteries properly at certified facilities
Do Not:
- Puncture, crush, or disassemble batteries
- Expose to fire or extreme heat
- Short-circuit battery terminals
- Charge damaged or swollen batteries
- Leave charging unattended for extended periods
Charging Safety
- Use USB-C cables in good condition
- Do not charge in wet environments
- Unplug if device becomes unusually hot
- Do not exceed 5V/2A input
