General Safety

Intended Use

PrecastX products are designed for:

  • Monitoring concrete curing temperatures in precast manufacturing
  • Indoor and outdoor industrial environments
  • Professional use by trained personnel

Not Intended For

  • Medical or life-safety applications
  • Explosive or hazardous environments (non-ATEX rated)
  • Underwater or submerged use
  • Temperatures exceeding specified ranges

Electrical Safety

Battery Safety

PrecastX devices contain Lithium Polymer batteries. Follow these guidelines:

Do:

  • Use only the provided or approved chargers
  • Charge in well-ventilated areas
  • Store at room temperature when not in use
  • Dispose of batteries properly at certified facilities

Do Not:

  • Puncture, crush, or disassemble batteries
  • Expose to fire or extreme heat
  • Short-circuit battery terminals
  • Charge damaged or swollen batteries
  • Leave charging unattended for extended periods

Charging Safety

  • Use USB-C cables in good condition
  • Do not charge in wet environments
  • Unplug if device becomes unusually hot
  • Do not exceed 5V/2A input
